My usual test kit was running low ( saltwater master drops). I borrowed some dipping strips from a friend (mardel). After using the strip I got a nitrate value of 40ppm, which is super high. I was surprised as last week I was at 0 on the drops. I used some of the drops I had left, and got a reading of 0. Why such a large difference in the two samples taken within 30 seconds, and which is more reliable?
