I have been fighting with this pump(RIO 2500)for over a year now. When I shut off the power to it, it's like pulling the handle on a slot machine- is it gonna work this time????? come on.... RUN!!! there's other choice words that are said just before I plug it back in, but I shouldn't post them here <img src="graemlins//uhuh.gif" border="0" alt="[U-Huh]" /> It's gotten so bad I have to make sure my 5 year old isn't in the room when I'm about to mess with it so he doesn't learn any new words 
Anyway, I've had it with this piece of $#*@. I'm going to replace it. I'm looking at the Mag 9.5.
Pros.....Cons????? Is this my only alternative for a submersable pump? Any horror stories? Is a 9.5 too powerful for an All Glass 75 with built in overflow?
I didn't research before I bought the rio, so hopefully you guys and gals can keep me from buying another P.O.S. pump.
