unidentified thing on mushroom rock?

I recently purchased a mushroom rock (ricordia).
when I got it home I realized it had this brownish/tan growth on the side. It felt kinda fleshy. it's mostly smooth with a few knobuals and it has an opening (like a mouth).
any ideas? is it good/bad?

is it moving or does it appera to be stationary. It kinda sounded like a leather until you mentioned a mouth. thats my opinion. sorry I cant help a little more

Does it look like a small anemone?

It looks like a fleshy growth about 1.5" long by 3/4" wide, flat, Tan/brown in color. fleshy to touch, smooth with a couple of bumbs (kinda of like the starting growth of polups???) the mouth looking thing looks like the opening you might see on a sea squirt like a little valcano.
