What to feed my Sailfin Tang?

I have heard all types of things from seaweed selects to leaf lettuce. I was wondering what and where do I find the best food to feed my new friend. I have heard of feeding them Nori, but I can't find this stuff anywhere.

they will feed on nearly anything that is labeled 'fish food' and is small enough to fit in their mouths... flakes are especially eagerly consumed. nori sheets can be bought very cheaply from www.brineshrimpdirect.com but i should say that after i bought some nori for two of my tangs they still clearly much more prefer normal flake food over the nori. they do eat some of it, but surely they don't consider it a big deal and don't get as exited as when the flakes or other foods are in.

My Sailfin will eat nothing but nori. I cut up the sheets into squares(2"x2") and fasten the square on the aquarium glass via a clip with a suction cup. Nori sheets can be purchased in packages at your local health food store or any market specializing in Asian food. Good luck.

I have a Yellow Salfin tang and a Naso Tang.
Both Prefer to pick at the LR but as soon as I put a piece of nori in it's gone in about 30 minuutes. I usually put a 2"-3" piece on a lettuce clip with a suction cup near the top of the tank where their is little flow. The Naso is always first in ripping it to shreds then in come the yellow to clean it up. Both of my tangs will not touch the flakes I put in for the Maroon clow and the green chromis.
P.S. I buy the nori at my grocery store, I soak it in garlic for about 20 minuntes before I put it in. To prepare the garlic I took 3 cloves and stuck them in about 1 cup of water and blended it til no chunks were left, ,I then put a cap on the jar a leave it in the fridge.
