Which to Use? Need some advice.

Right now my 55g has been pressed for space so I am currently not running a sump. Nor will I be able to until I move. So i am currently using a Hob Bio & Carbon Filter along with a 5g Hob Refugium.
I bought an Aqua C Remora Pro a few months back but never used it because there wassn't enough room on the back of the tank for it. So my question is Should I just get rid of the refugium and use the skimmer instead?

If you no use for the pods that may come from the refugium then I would go with the skimmer. The remoras are great skimmers and I believe you will get more help with your nitrogen cycle from it that the refugium at this point.
