I have to agree, as much as I appreciate the nomination above, it really is more about being able to be level headed about everything, and sticking to the rules even if it makes people not like you for enforcing them.

I am shot down for a thought that came to mind about "fan favorite", and I agree that Modship is not a popularity contest, yet those that want "Modship" are politiking the most.
Again, I don't thing being a mod is 100% about popularity, but neither is the Presidency of the United States of America, but the fans sure do have a say in it.

....and Reefkeeperz, I was not referring to you as being one of the one's politiking. After thinking about it though, you would be a great mod, but if not, as long as you stay on here, it doesn't matter if you are a mod or not, you can still be found to give great advice in your field of specialty.

Don't really understand why someone would seek out to be a mod? It does not make your suggestions more authentic. You are a good person without mod status
. You can post your thoughts anytime you want, and are accountable for nothing. I prefer amature status, gives you more freedom to say what you need to get your point across.

I'm happy participating, While I do enjoy the fact that there are people out there that think i would be a good mod, I dont think I would gain as much pleasure from being here if I had to moderate the actions of others, I have a hard enough time keeping myself in check when I get incised about something.

We're not currently looking to add moderators, but when we do, it will be a collective selection between swf.com and the existing moderators.
