Zoas - removed from rock

I bought a rock last night with some Zoas and a LPS on it. The zoas looked like they were slightly overtaking the LPS so I plucked some of them off with some sharp (a little too sharp) tweezers. Some came off easy but some ripped. Can I place all of these (the half zoas) back in my tank? Will they all grow back and will they reatach themselves to gravel or should I glue/sew them onto something?
Thanks.

better off putting on a rock or omething, or the polyps can get swept under your rock by the current.

What about the ones that are ripped in half? Will this hurt the tank at all? If they can be poisonous for us what will it do to the water?

probably nothing. they probably are already healed up and ready to continue growing.
can run carbon if you'd like, but the toxin they release was already released long ago. the ripped ones will heal and continue to grow, probably better than the nonripped ones
