They are interesting. They will make a dent on pod populations but they will not exterminate your pods.

If you hand feed them they will multiply.

Also, this ricordea has been on the same rock with the shroom you id'd? Do you think it can be related? Btw this shroom made it through hurricane Sandy, no power in tank for two months. I have had this ricordea for 4 years.
