I have the 2x96W power compact fixture over my 30 gallon and my anemone is doing great. Personally I dont think you need the cost of a metal halide on a tank that small for an anemone to flourish.

I am looking to buy a skimmer that is less than $100 that will do a good job on my 30 gallon tank. Just wondering if anyone knows of any that arent going to break in a few months and do the trick. Let me know.

I had a problem with red slime recently and its going away now. I tried everything except for the chemicals because I dont trust them. What ended up working for me was aiming a power head towards the top of the tank so that the water gets agitated more so there is a better oxygen exchange. And...

Is there such a thing as a green sebae or LTA? It is green when the daylight lights are on. It also has a red/pink foot.

I got an anemone and it said LTA at the store. Is there such a thing as a green LTA? I thought it might actually be a BTA myself. Someone advise.

rwhite your anemone looks more like a long tenticle anemone than a BTA by the picture IMO.

The anemone is not white at all it is green (not bleached?). And the tips when the other bulb is on bulge a little leading me to think that it is a bubble tip.
