the guy at my lfs told me to dip my clown for one minute so as to not overstress the fish.i guess an eel would probably be about the same. just be sure the temp of the water is close to your dt. i didnt do this and thought he was a goner,but he kicked back into shape in a few minutes. hth.
hmmm, i would think its fine as long as you dont start tripping breakers.really depends what else is on the circuit that the particular outlet is on. Ihave done this with no problems ,im sure some would not recommend it,but sometimes we do what we must.
ive use them for my heaters as well,it is my feeling that the warnings refer to something like small space heaters that would draw a lot more current but that is my opinion.
i use powerstrips for mine.Just be sure to use drip loops on your cords and position it so it wont get water dripping in it. I think youll be fine. hth

well its like the flesh is just releasing and falling off alltogether leaving just the skeleton. i have a few zoos and a leather and some shrooms in the tank as well. parameters are in check but phosphates is a little high.
