    Which substrate?

Unsure of which substrate to use on a 20g long reef. Would the SeaFlor grain be too big and/or bad substrate for sifting fish or snails?

    29 gallon reef stocking help

I might consider a pygmy angel. From my experience and observations, they aren't aggresive and they stay small. I agree that clowns are always a nice addition. I had a purple pseudochrmis and he wasnt aggresive and was very active and colorful. But again, Ive heard others had issue with...

    ok need something blue...

What size is your tank? The fridmani (orchid dottyback) is much more of a purple than blue and Ive heard they like to hide in the rocks a lot (like the blackcap basslet). I plan to get a cherub (pygmy) angel when I start my new tank. He is blue with a yellow face.

Oceana, Thanks for the reply. Do you or does anyone else recommend another HOB filter other than the Emperor 280? I have 2 of them running on my 37g along with an octo 100 skimmer. Does anyone have the same experience using these Emperor filters? Instead, can I use one filter on the 37g...

    Bubbles from filter

I have a 37g tank and am running 2 Emperor 280s and Octopus 100 skimmer. I have lots of super small bubbles in the tank below where the larger bubbles are created when the water from the filter hits the water. (These bubbles are smaller than microbubbles ive seen posted in skimemr threads) Im...
