What size is your tank? The fridmani (orchid dottyback) is much more of a purple than blue and Ive heard they like to hide in the rocks a lot (like the blackcap basslet). I plan to get a cherub (pygmy) angel when I start my new tank. He is blue with a yellow face.

I drip acclimated my serpent star and use a net to put him in the tank. He will be exposed to air when putting him in the tank.
