    i had the same problem with the hydrometers. i only use a refractometer now. the only way to go. also be sure to clean your hydrometers thoroughly after each use if you stick to that method. goodluck.

    i use zoecon and have had no problems. i mix the zoecon into some frozen brine shrimp and then feed the mixture after a few hours. never clouded the water as such though.

    i3luedragon, i think you are reffering to a ups. these can run alot of computer equipment as the equip draws verry little current. i tried using my ups computer backup on my tank and it barely would run 3 fluorescent tubes! of course you can go for higher power but they start to get very expensive.

    dead tridacna food for trigger???

    this might sound ridiculous but here goes: i have had a small tridacna clam die (about 2hrs before this posting. can i feed this to my undulated trigger? the clam is in saltwater and is deffinitely dead, but will obviously decay very quickly and probably become toxic. any info would be great.
