I once heard of a maroon clown using a condy as a host but it's very rare. I had 2 that got very large and my fish were afraid of them, wouldn't go near them.
I should have asked earlier--how long is the tank been set up- what kind of lights do you have-what size tank is it- what fish and inverts are in the tank now
Well first welcome to the boards.
As long as you have the correct lighting to keep anemones there is no need to spot feed as they get 90% of their food from the lights. T5 or mh lights are needed to keep this anemone. Also your tank needs to be well established for 6 months or more. If you are...
Did you test the water in July to make sure you got a cycle? You should have put in a few raw deli shrimp to jump start the cycle when you first set up the tank. You might be just be getting a cycle now by adding a clean up crew that size. Test your water parameters and post if you can.
If the anemone is new to your tank, give it time. It's getting acclimated to it's new home and lighting as long as your tank is well established and water parameters are up to par. If the anemone is moving, make sure your powerheads and filter intakes are covered.
