this is how I keep mine from jumping out... still have to remember to close it after I open it... the mesh is over the lights, so its an open canopy for gas exchange, all around the canopy is sealed so nothing gets out...

finally received my juvenile clown... added him to the QT tank and today I added my bigger clown to the tank, so far they are being nice, no chasing, just hanging out... eggcrate if he needs a quick escape!

not sure what 2 new fish you're refering to! I will add 1 new small clown to the existing probably close to 2" maroon I have.... what do you think about this... I will remove the fish from the tank and place in my QT tank, use a screen to divide the tank and add the small new fish on the other...

that is some good news, do you think I'll be ok by adding the new smaller fish first to the new tank and my current clown a few days later.

how long since you started the tank, added the rock, maintain your calcium and kh levels and in a couple months time coraline will begin to form, it will also help if you can get a piece of rock with coraline already in it "a seed of sorts"

does the 10g have any water circulation at all?

what kind of clown do you have? Blue and Dominos are very aggresive you may want to stay away from those in a small tank, love the Firefish but make sure you have the tank top sealed or they will become dryfish in your floor and I think they do best when kept in pairs, the gramma is a good...

what is your source for livestock, it looks like most animals are dying really fast after introduction, is the source reliable, do they look "healthy" when you get them, are they eating properly before you buy, I am not a fan of the drip acclimation method too many variables to sync
