The brittle worm and the snail are still doing well. The brittle worm comes out and moves around a little now. It seems he/she is active at night or when the room is dark. Is that when they like to move around. Otherwise he/she stays in the branch rock. Any ideas?

I am going to use it for my water changes. I use natural spring water out of the ground for major fills. Luckily There is a natural spring watering trough just down the road from me. It test good and the best thing it is free. It also is high in calcium. I wish I could get 5 gallons for $1.30 ...

I think I will go with the hard cycle. This way all the levels can spike and I know the tank won't go thru mini cycles. Any suggestions.

Actually there is plenty of room in front. It appears closer than it is. There actually is plenty of swimming room and hiding places. The way the rock actually "lays" in there is deceiving. I have read this book. It was the first book my mentor gave me to read. I found it very helpful. I am also new at this. I just sat up a 55 gallon reef tank this past Sunday.
