Thank you for the very informative response..I was looking at a fuzzy..it'll def be pushing it but what do u think about a fuzzy and a zebra with 40+ pounds of live rock a fliter and a skimmer if they are the only two things in there other then CUC? I've kept volitans in larger tanks so I know...

    mandarin question

I bought a somewhat starving mandarin that was believed to be a female about 4 months ago after doing a lot of research on them. I put her in a little tiny hermit crab type of cage to teach him to eat frozen foods and got her on nutra mar ova, frozen brine and mysis. She's fattened up quite a...

    Female Clown fish weird behavior

My female TPC goes down to the sand of my tank and she shakes her tail fin it the sand and stirs the sand up. So far I have only witnessed the activity behind and infront of the anemone the two clowns have hosted. Any idea why she is doing this?

Can a clown kill an anemone?

yea thats probably the best idea. Even if everythin is perfect tho theres still a chance of it dying, but goodluck and update in the future. feeding it about twice a week will also help it grow a little faster to try to keep up with the clowns growth

Can a clown kill an anemone?

from my experiance, yeah they can love the anemone to death..lol, especially maroons because they can be pretty big. The anemone needs to be big enough to easily fit whoever is hosting it, which is quite hard to find without breaking ur budget so hopefully the nem can grow enough to take the...

    cloudiness question

i recently pulled out a mantis shrimp from my live rock and i decided to set up a 10 gallon for him after reading about the intelligence of the little guy. The water is directly from my main tank so the water is fine but i got new sand for him and filled the tank last night. The tank is still...

    which anemone is better?

to directly answer your question, from what i know the bta has a better chance although obviously nothing is guarnateed. Like meow said your tank is a little new, not saying you cant keep it alive, its hit or miss but totally up to you. I personally like the look of sebae more but bta has a...
