lfs and beg/buy a pound or two.
try to get it out of there live rock holding tanks
theres all kinda goodies in there

if so they shut down around a month back
really sucks caus i got hand picked live rock for CHEAP
pretty cool to see behind the senes aswell

if there is no corals that you would like to live on the rock
then you can place it in a bucket of sw with a salinity around .030 all the little critters will come out and you can remove the ones that you dont want

i woult try to use eggcrate

you can get it at home depo for 10 -15 bucks a 2'x4' sheet
