What is suggested for a 125 gallon FOWLR? Keep in mind although the tank is 22" deep, I will have 6" of sand and a 1" top gap so the water will only be about 15" deep. I do not plan on any corals (I have a separte reef tank) but I do plan on some type of algae or sea grass to grow in the tank...

Hello All, I am currently contemplating upgrading my reef tank to either a 65 gallon (36"L * 18"D * 24"H) or, a 90 gallon tank (48"L * 18"D * 24"H). I would go, no brainer, with the 90, but it will be a bit big for the space. So, size wise for the room, the 65 seems the better idea. However...

I have a hang on ecosystem 40. I got it roughly two + years ago and have yet to change any of the mud. No problems yet. Its no different than using sand in a tank. Do you change 50% of you dsb every year?

Do you do anything special to entice them to spawn? Such as extra feedings or using moon lights on a special cycle?
