Looks like bubble algae. Don't pop the bubbles or the spores will spread all over the tank. I think emerald crabs will eat it, but am not sure.

Rebel, That is too cool! It started out as a little sad looking spot on a gsp frag. I cut the rock so it could be in a more lit place than my gsp and since then it has tripled in size! I LOVE this hobby. It's like Christmas everytime you look into your tank!

Perfect Dark, The fact that its polyps are out like that is good? I was afraid it was stretching to get more light. I may be able to get a less crowded pic later. I just fed the tank and my hermits think that rock is their dinner table!

The first pic is some type of encrusting coral. The matt is a light lavender/blue and the polyps are orange. It was a hitchhiker on a frag of gsp. I would really like to know what it is. It looks like something that my LSF sells for $40 per square inch. The green dudes were in a hole in the rock...

The first one is some type of leather. Maybe a toadstool? The second are Zoas, but I don't know the name. They have a pink mouth with an orange skirt.

1. GATORS I've got to give credit to Miami for playing tough that whole game. I was suprised that UF didn't run away with it early. If Shannon keeps recruiting strong then UM will be back in no time! If UM plays that well during their ACC schedule they might be able to go to the title game.

Old rock, new critter. When touched it slowly retracts into a ball. It consists of two tubes. I assume it's a filter feeder, but it doesn't look or feel like a sponge to me.

I used a bottle trap to get a wrasse out of one of my tanks. I chose a clear plastic bottle, cut the top off and inverted it into the body of the bottle. I then put some shrimp in the bottle and left it over night. The next morning the wrasse was in the bottle and ready to transport to my office...
