On my LR, all of a sudden (after 3 months of nothing) today I have about 10 or so creatures coming out that look like a white worm with a small fan on the end. They stick out a half inch or so. Anyone? Thanks!

So yesterday I was installing a new powerhead in my tank and I noticed one of my larger mexican turbos on his back with sand all over the top of him. It kinda looked like a piece of broccoli sticking up out of the shell. I figured it was dead or something but I left it and 30 minutes later it...

Look at this way...a 75 with water and rock may weigh around 600 or so pounds while a couch with 3 grown men could also weigh around 600 lbs. I've never heard of a couch falling through a floor.

Do angels change from their juvi colors to adult colors in captivity? I've heard they don't.

Yeah you'll probably have a bioload problem. I'm not usually one to say that's too many fish, but that's too many fish. Too many big fish anyway. With the sizes they get, they'd be bumping into each other constantly in a 4' aquarium. The trigger and the eel would get along fine though.

Ok there are some strange things going on in my tank. I picked up 4 large mexican turbos a few days ago and then today I found a tiny (1/4") snail running around on the sand. Then he buried himself completely in the sand and stuck up his antenna like a submarine. Anybody know of anything like...

Mine appeared to have all his arms (six).

I had a 72 gallon aggressive with a snowflake eel, blue-spotted grouper, lunar wrasse, and niger trigger and they were all healthy the entire time I had them. I moved after having them for a few years so I had to give them away. You could probably make a yellow tang work in there too but...

I just got back from the LFS with 20 blue-leg hermits and in the bag with them is a tiny (1/8-1/4") six legged starfish that is tan to white in color. Any ideas on what they happened to give me? Will it live and how big it might get? Thanks

I think our water is good enough...I drink it anyway. Appreciate the help.
