I have a star that keeps getting into the overflow box from the main tank, and was wondering if I should just let it get into the refugium? Would it harm production of the pods in my "Pod Farm" if its in there? Or would it be a good thing to have in there? All I have atm are all the pods and...
After trying all kinds of snails and crabs and tangs I finally found the solution on a whim 2 days ago: I put the hair-algae-infested rocks within reach of my 4+inch queen conch and within a few hours she had cleared a rock about a foot long and almost as wide...COMPLETELY cleared, ignoring all...
I was thinking of scraping all the coraline algae off the back of my tank and was wondering if there are any bad side-effects to the pieces of it sitting on the bottom of the tank? Will it just disintegrate into sand? Or should I remove all the ones I can reach? Its hard to get the ones that...

Maybe about 50w, its hard to tell since the bulbs are so old they cant be read anymore. I keep it on 24/7, and I also keep my main tank on 24/7 as well because of a glitch in my lighting fixture that makes it take 30...
Not sure how many I have, its hard to tell with all the chaeto and other stuff growing in the fuge. I do have hoards of pods tho. To make sure the mandarin has enough to eat I switch bunches of chaeto back and forth between the main tank and the fuge every couple weeks.
Im not really worried...
