So I think I got it figured out. Called reeflo directly because I couldn't get a hold of the company I bought it from. It is a dart/snapper hybrid 2600/3600 gph but it is a new "gold" line. Upgraded motor.

Well, I got that part down. I was just wondering if anyone had a GOLD reeflo dart/snapper?? I thought they were blue.

Getting my new 210 plumbed. I ordered the snapper/hybrid. I thought they were blue. The pump I recieved is gold. Did someone mske a boo-boo in my favor??

I'm using a 55L for my sump and as of about 3pm today the tank is going against a wall, making a lot of this so much easier. Going w/ the bean overflow, 1.25" bulkheads into 1.5" pvc and 2 returns w/ the mag 18 for now. A closed loop w/ the dart hybrid-4 returns(too many?).

OK, so I'm really liking the bean animal overflow. He had me at dead silent. Thinking about selling this tank and buying a new one. Most of what I'm wanting to do is really dependent on that bottom glass. Otherwise I've got a 2x2 pane of glass to put everything through. One thing i didnt find is...

Should I add extra bracing at the ends?? 16" of 1/2" at both ends?

it's 1/2". i think at this point i'm just going to drill the one side, its a 210 7x2x2. I think i typoed earlier and put 240. As far as the CL...i'll have to check out above the rim possibilities. would like to keep this tank as clean as possible, w/o powerheads.

The canopy!! Really proud of how well this turned out. My boyfriend helped a lot!! He's getting into this project big time. Like i said, this was my first time with a router. We just copied specs from the old canopy. made it about 2" taller. made a jig one side down Houston, we have door...

and final product... We went with a satin black finish. I still have to make cabinet doors(bleh). Because it is going to be a room divider we took off the moulding around the top, routered some new moulding and put it all the way around. It was all in really good shape. Got it for $450.

LOL, my other option is drilling the side of the tank and putting the overflow there. i just really didnt want to see anything coming out the side. But i'm thinking this is probably going to be the way i go. the tank is 1/2" glass, it is an old school oceanic 210, has the gold logo on the...

It will be an island/peninsula room divider. It's a 240, I don't mind a DIY project, just need to get it done this weekend. I'm off till monday.
