    Coral banded v Arrow crab

Thanks, He just looks real aggresive with those claws out all wide, maybe it starts fights with just its appearance. I dropped them both in last night, so we'll see whats going on when I come home from work and sneak in on them. If the CBS is causing problems it'll have to go.

    Quarantine rock back?

Don't ask why but, I pulled large chunk of liverock out of my tank and used it in my quaranteen tank for a bit. I had copper in the water and the fish never made it through. The rock has sat there for about a year in open air. What do I need to do to put this back in my main tank? Soak it for...

    Diamond Goby dust

I just added one of these to my established @3 year 72 gallon reef tank. I haven't had any serious sand sifting going on in that time. I had critters that burrowed and I'd vacuum the gravel during WC'es. But this guy has tore my floor bed up. It's pretty cloudy in my tank these days, the live...

    Coral banded v Arrow crab

So I just got a reef kit with a coral banded shrimp and I also got an arrow crab. I'm starting my drip setup and when I drop the arrow crab in the carton, the coral banded comes over and rips his leg off and starts eating in front of him. I'm like "WOwww stop, lol" So I scramble to find another...

    Refugium or Sump

Yup! I love the stuff and use it anytime I see a problem start or add new fish. (I'd link but I guess SWF.com doesn't sell it so I'll just paste the info) "Provides natural disease protection for saltwater fish and invertebrates * Helps prevent ich, aeromonas and other common diseases *...

    Clowns hosted in a Frogspawn

My perculas have hosted to a frogspawn coral. They have lived in there happily for about two years. Does this sort of thing happen a lot? Are they just as happy as they would be in an anemone?

    Refugium or Sump

"Marine Max" is some great stuff to treat your water with. All Biological and works great. I'd also reccomend a garlic additive your food to boost immune. Sorry to hear man.

    brittle starfish

I have one that has grown to be pretty large over the years. I haven't had any type of problem in my reef system at all. He will crawl up my arm if he's in the mood, it's pretty cool. I have had 2 shrimp go missing in the past 2 months but I can't blame him for sure. (I think I let my iodine get...
