    Siphoning Kalkwasser

    Do you mean how to siphon out the kalkwasser during the initial mixing? if so... after 3-4 hrs siphon the middle of the mixing kalk by first filling up a siphon tube with water-plug the end---insert into middle and let it flow! ;)

    I've had mine in our bedroom for 1 yr. now- love it and wouldn't have it any other way!I have the Skimmer on a timer so it's on during the day only. My ph's are silent.Works for me! :)

    Thinking of buying a Mandarin or Sleeper Goby.The glass of my Tank is crawling with hundreds of little-white-guys. Question is: Should I discontinue using my Eheim Canister filter? Will the finer media decrease bug population to below healthy level for these fish?

    Thanks Mr.Tang, I'll take your advice. One fish per month (unless mated pairs).I'll go with the 2 wks in Quarantine to be safest(heard FW dips will not remove parasites that are deeply inbeded in the flesh). Any sugestions for best method for QTank ? Cheers!
