Live rock has a couple pink things what look like small anemones. Can anybody tell what they are?

90 gal w/ a pro clear pro 150w/ protein skimmer. If you look on the center of the live rock you can see the pinkish colored anemone looking thing. I will attempt to get a clearer pic. Thanks for the quick response.

Here are a few pics of what I was told was apistasia. Can someone please verify and if it is should I get rid of it? Also its hard to see, but the tang has faded coloring and fins are some what cloudy any idea what it could be.

I am planning to get a few anemones in the future. I was wondering what the proper lighting is for promoting a healthy enviorment.

Thanks for the replys. I'm not going to take a chance. I will just lose the air stone. Any opinions on the pro clear 150 w/ protein skimmer? I returned the megaflow model 2 I had. It was 6-7 weeks old and the sides and top had warped to the point that the covers would not fit properly

What is the story with air stones in salt water tanks. I've heard different stories about air bubbles in salt water set ups. I have a air stone in the tank for nothing more than the look but if there is a chance it could cause a problem I will take it out. Any input on this subject is greatly...

Do I need to get rid of them? Will they cause any harm if I just leave them?

Thanx for the input. I did install a ball valve due to the sump pulling more than the intake tube could handle resulting in a rush of air into filter system. I know it says that the sump filter is rated for up to 75 gal tank but I was told they under rate there filters.

tHE PUMP IS RATED AT 1000 GAL PER HOUR. WHAT SHOULD I HAVE FOR LIVE SAND?

90 gl saltwater setup. approx. 25lbs of live rock and 40 lbs of live sand are in the the tank. I have a Mega Flow sump model 2 filter. Is this filter the proper one for this size tank. I have been told yes and no by different people at the lfs. :help:

I have tiny white specs that appear to be crawling on the inside glass. There appeaer to be hundreds of these tiny little things. I just noticed them today. I have a 90 gal set up with 2 black and white damsels 2 clarkii and a snow flake eel. The fish appear to be ok. :help: I was hoping...
