How far are you moving it? To a diferent room or diferent house? I would think you would have to setup a holding tank for your fish while you emptied and moved the tank, but I'm by far an expert on this. Good luck!

I'm no expert,but i think we need more info before we can help such as what lights you are running and how high above the water they are. that will make a big diference in your evaporation levels.

I have about 50lbs in my 75gl tank, but LORDOFTHEREEF is right it depends on how dense the rock is. I have some rocks that wieght twice as much as others thier size.
