    Or you could go with Hagen GLO t5's The double lamp fixture is only $150 and they come in 24" (thats what i have) so you could buy 2 of the double fixtures and have 4 t5's for about $380.

    Yeah i would just go to petsmart and get some base rock. 10 pounds for 6 bucks. Get a couple pounds of LR and wait. I have some base rock that was bleached white when i got it about a month ago, and its brown now. Doesnt really take long. Just remember, patience is everything in this hobby.
