I would like any info on this model wet-dry cannister filter.It's a Marineland c-220.ABQ 29780. Is, or has anyone owned or used this model for a small 47 gal. reef tank??? .If so what do you think of it?

Well i wanted to place it under the tank. Inside the cabinet.and have the hoses go down the back of the tank cause i have a nice color blue on the back of the tank "painted on" So anything going down the back will not be seen. The tank is against the wall. appreciate any suggestions you mite have.

WOW you really are way ahead of me on this.You really know you'r stuff. But what i'm trying to accomplish first is making a refugium from a regular 20 gal. fish tank. gluing in the seperators ect.

I was sittting there watching and i saw my yellow tang digging under the rocks and he had something hanging out of his mouth,then he ate it. then he was hunting under the rock gain and dislodged a brittle star and ate it. craziest thing i ever seen. Is this normal?????

Anyone know why this coral isnt opening all the way??? And what is the black color on the hard shells or "plates"??? Every day i see more bubbles appering,From none to about 9 , but they are soo small. I dont know if i should just let it be and see.It is looking better than it did 2 weeks...

I have beeen hearing about RO water, I take that to be short for reverse osmosis???? Well where would one get it ? my supermarket doesn't have it. unless it goes by a different name. I have been using distilled water for topping off. which is better? or doesn't it make any difference?

i was wondering if anyone would know this. i have an old computer that i use for parts i was wondering if i wire the puter fan to a regular outlet plug would it work???? any ideas ???? if that works it would make a nice cooling fan for my swt.

Would like to know if a halide bulb fits in a regular lite socket and does it plug rite into the household outlet or is there some sort of a transformer that has to be used?????
