Just wondering what a-lot of you have against "yellow tangs?" They don't cost you an arm and a leg to purchase and i think they look great and add color to the surroundings. Don't you agree?

Me again,,, Here is a photo of my 37 gal. Any suggestions of what to add??besides fish....somethings that are easy too keep,don't need a lot of lighting (only have retro 65 watt floresence) and grows fast or multiplies quickly. Also not too much $$$$. Thank you

How many hours a day should I leave my lites on? I have a timer set for 8:00 AM then goes "off" at 12 noon Then comes "on" again at 4:00 PM. Then "out" at 8:00 PM. Does this sound O.K.? 4 hours "on" 4 hours "off"?

How exactly does a sump work?I imagine it being like a hang-on filter with filter pads and that bio pad that you just rinse out.I have a Eclips 3 "37" gal with a filter built in the hood. Would i be better off, and for what reason to get a sump??? Just getting started on saltwater and need...

I was wondering if it is harmful to salt water fish and corals if i use charcoal in my filter pad? I have a built in filter in the hood "eclips tank" I have been removing the charcoal and just using the pad when i buy new filters. Any comments??

reefkprz I had the water checked by my store where i by most of my coral. I have a 40 gal eclips 3 tank It been set up for over a year.it has a retro lite kit 65 watts florescent blue and white.just the filter in the hood.Everything else in the tank doing well. I noticed the color of the bubble...

Does this bubble coral have a problem??? When i got it the bubbles were soo big you couldn't see the blades .the blades used to be pure white. HELP!!!! I hope this photo comes out first time trying the attachment trick.

My bubble coral has dark brown on it's shells and isn't opening too much at all. I have put it in a seperate 1 gal tank and giving it very little lite just in case it is algea growing on it. any other help would be appreciated

I recently bought a beautiful looking green bubble coral. Looked great, and big bubble about the size of grapes. Put it in my saltwater tank and it hasen't opened all the way in about 3 weeks. It looks ok but the bubbles are only opened, i would say like the size of a BB. The water all checks...
