Here is a diagram of what I am talking about....

Does anyone use any type of surge device on thier tank. I've been reading and came accross some interesting information on thier use. Basically a small tank above the DT into which you pump water from the DT. There would be float inside that "dumps" the water back into the DT via a toilet...

reractometer is just for size reference, it is not included. I also have several powerheads that would work...

Glen here are the pics. The white pvc pipe is an adapter I made because I needed a longer outlet hose. I'll send that as well. You can use it if you need it, if not, no worries as it is not glued together. Pete

I changed because I wanted to try a beckett skimmer and wanted more skimming power. The coralife however was the best needlewheel I have used. Everything is included, pump, hoses, etc. Condition is 100% aside from being dirty. I will take some pictures and post tonight...

it is 4.5" wide not including the bulkheads, however the bulkheads are above the top of the tank, so you would need 4.5" of space between the tank and the wall...

I have read posts where people have plumbed up and around. I would imagine it would depend on the type of pump, or your method of priming it.
