It's all over everything, an even milky film. It's not any streaks. My tank is brand new and water has been in it only two days. The first day looked awsome this morning look like it how your windows would fog up, but thicker. I have wiped some off and it kinda looks like it might be the salt...

I built it myself, from taking all the information and ideas everyone has here on the site, hope this can help someone else out like it did me.

There is some sort of a fine milky film all over everything. I don't know if it's the bacteria or something from the arganite sand that I put in the fuge, that's the only thing besides the saltwater that is in there.

My tank has saltwater and aroganite sand in the fuge, all my readings on the tank are great, after a day of letting the tank circulate this morning I found my tank with a real bad foogy film on everything. What's up with this? 55 gal new tank

Birdy, I plann on using abbout 4" LSB. I was going to purchase some BR along with LR, how much of each do you recommend for my 55 gal? Also I purchased and RO system from HD, I was planning on buying the water the first time, then using my system for any additional adds, what do you think?

I purchased a water filtration unit from Home Depot for about 70$. It only has one filter in it. Will this system work for my new saltwater tank or will I need to add something else to it?
