ill be honest one of mine is in a cave and the smaller colony is on my live rock and both have been fine for over a year in fact the smaller colony as i said has dropped a few babies.. and no its not dropping off all the heads are still there but there are lil ones popping up on my other rocks...

its better to do it at night as they are nocturnal but mine stays out almost all the time now ill post a pic

they can handle a few weeks and they dont like a high flow at dinner time :)

dont worry it takes them a little while to adjust. It took me 2 weeks to get mine to open ... try either turning off your powerheads or putting a top of a 2liter bottle over him .. do this every other day at the same time he will come around try at night when the lights go off i feed mine right...

ive read that they slowly starve in captivity usually within a year over that period they will shed their heads a few times grow them back and then perish..

my lionfish will only eat rosies..i say at this point it would be give them what they want to eat and try to work a lil variety in around that or you can garlic its supposed to entice them to eat

ill do that and post pics of the skimmer are you interested in all of it or just the pumps now im confused

problem with the skimmer is i cant find a name on it
