I'm going to have to watch this one.... I like the trim on the sides like the front. I think it will help round out the build, unless both ends will be up against a wall or something. Are you going to do a canopy and match it to the stand??? Later shane

I understand what your saying, the water isn't cycled, it is the bacteria in the water, or tank, that establish the water quality and the means to keep it that way. I think I'm getting it now. So if a guy like myself was to use the aquaclear HOB filter for a QT tank with the filter sponge like...

If you have an already cycled DT, can't you just use some of the water out of the DT durring a water change to fill the QT? Then you only need water in the QT when you have a fish in there? Thanks...
