    Just wanted to update that I have a ton more frags. All frags are $5, $10 and $15. I have nepthia, zoa's, GSP, kenya tree, Mushrooms, paply's, pink toadstools, candy cane, hard coral (montipora), too much too list!!!!

    In my experience with xenia...... Either it is dying or it is being eaten. I found out too late but my yellow tang ate all of my xenia.

    It is not dying. My toadstools will act the same way for even up to a week or so and then come back. You can tell when they are about to come back when they start shedding a waxy coating. Not to worry very common with these guys! :joy: :joy: :joy:

    Removing algea from hard coral

    I received some hard corals from a local reefer and he had a hair algae problem. My phosban reactor did not touch it. I used the toothbrush and tweezers gently and did not hurt/ break any of the corals.

    I have used generic lights (not saltwater specific), the kind that comes with tanks at the store. This lighting was sufficient enough so your lighting would be more than adequate!

    I have always used a toothbrush (softly in clean saltwater). Whatever you don't get off atleast it will make managable enough for the crabs and fish to nibble at.
