I was looking into starting a Nano tank. I have had a 55gal fish only tank a few years back and know some of the ins and outs of saltwater, but I know nothing about these Nano tanks. Which tank setup is best right out of the box as far as filtrationskimming, lighting and cooling? Dont know...

I have a false perc, scooter bleny, lawnmower blenny, firefish goby, choc. chip star, and a couple of shrimp and a small cleaner crew. By the way is the IBEW41 your local? I am in IBEW local 304.

I made the mistake and bought a SeaClone POS skimmer and I need to find a different one. My question is are the CPR Bak-Pak skimmers a good skimmer? I have a 55 gallon FOWLR. Any input would be appreciated.

I just did a 20% water change Saturday and this brown hairy algae is all over my sand bed again. I used CaribSea live sand for my sand bed and it says no silica. My RoDi water that I did the change with started at 0 conductivity. I have to think that I have silica in the tank from the sand...

For the Wife. She wants a yellow tang but I keep telling her it wont be happy and will outgrow the tank, so I figured if another tang would work it would make her happy and if she is happy= me happy.

Being doing that for about... let me see.... oh about 23 years so far.

Closest Lowes is 3 hours away and I have a Home Depot about 40 minutes away but I could wait till the weekend and make a trip. It kinda sucks living in the middle of nowhere. I only have one LFS and he has told me to do some things that really dont make sense. Soooo... I will probably wait...
