How long should the tank take to cycle then?

I received 45lbs of LR that I placed in a 20g tank to "cure"? I have a 72g (main tank) that I had a LR in (and nothing else) since Turkey day. Do I now add the 45lbs to the main tank? Also, do I scrub that brown stuff off of the LR in the 20g tank or let it be? :notsure: :notsure: :notsure...

I received 45 lbs of LR and I am curing it in a seperate tank for three days now. I notice that there is a lot of "flaking" going on with the rock. should I scrub the rock to get that stuff off? Let it be? :notsure:

:help: I put a LR in my 72 bowfront on the 25th. I will be getting 50lbs of LR on thursday. does this new stuff slow my curing process? (no fish yet)
