I am trying to figure out what kind of lighting to put on my new tank. It is a 45 corner tank. The problem is the space for the light in the top is on 18". Can post pic if needed. My plan for the tank is seahorses, mandarin and scooters along with ricordeas and maybe some other corals. Any help...

Well at least now I have him eating ghost shrimp while training him. He seems to really like them.

I thought it looked like sperm.... I was whitish and slimy looking. While he was doing it he was backing up. It looked really strange.

What I am planning---- I have 60 lbs of LS, will get my live rock along with cheato and let my tank sit for a while, then after I have a pod population established I will put in my Mandarins and scooters. I do not have a fuge or sump so my plan is to put the cheato in covered in the live rock...

Can I just leave the top door open? I have a wrasse that may jump out.... I just did a water change about 3 days ago and my PH is still low. I have lots of circulation(filter and skimmer) which circulate water well....

I have a mandarin and a scooter in my 45. I have had them almost a year and they both eat frozen. I feed 3-4 times a day. I haven't had a problem. I know everyone says if you get one that eats frozen you are lucky. I know everyone also says 100lbs. of live rock, however I got them after I read...

I know I am going to put mandarins and scooters in there but I will have to wait a while for those also. We thought about maybe getting something and before putting the horses in there, transfer them into my other tank. But I wasn't sure how many other fish there were that could go with the horses.

What other type of fish can go with seahorses? I am setting up my new tank for horses but don't want to put them in for a long time, so what else can I put in there?

I will have to find some rigid airline tubing... Is there smaller silversides out there?

Okay, just tried the Silversides. They seem like they are to big for him. He acted like he wanted it but wouldn't take it. Any ideas? Also does anyone know a good place to get ghost shrimp?

The only thing that I see about the $79 min. is that they still charge a $9.99 handling fee plus a $9.99 fuel surcharge so there is no point in having a min if you charge extra anyway....

I have had him almost a week now. I will have to try to find something that is clear. I bought some silversides yesterday so I will try those today. How long can they go without eating? That is the only reason I did the guppy thing again.

Okay thanks, I did finally get him to eat the guppies until I can get to the LFS.

Okay, I just tried guppies just because this is what they told me he was eating. The problem is the guppy never made it to him and my wrasse ate it in about 5 seconds. Where do you get silversides. I am not sure what they are????
