I got a sandshifting starfish 2 days ago. I was under the impression that there stay in the sand bed I shut the light off and about two hours later i saw the sand shifter on the glass. Is it normal for the sandshifters to graze on the glass or is there something wrong with it. please advise...

I just added a refugium about 3 weeks ago. I have seen alot of growth in the refugium. On the main glass i see tiny bugs there stomias they kind of look like a shrimp. There transparent are these good and are they coming from the refigum

the total watts is 18 wattts i was told to leave it on for 24 hours for about a month the do a reverse cycle is that true

use a phospate remover filter pad. It will clear it up in a couple of days, I had to do it to my tank the algea was a red slime like algea it was all over my sand bed to. the phosate filter worked

I just set up my refugium the light i am running is a 10 k 8 watt pc white and a artnic, the area of mud is about 12 inches by 6 inches. Do you think thats enough light or should i add a plant light (florance)?????

I have figi mud and some plants, my wet dry is hocked up to the refuge, i see little tiny schrimp in the plants of the refuge is that good?

I have tried to rid my tank of this green hair algea. Tomorrow i am going to remove the rock and scrubb it off. When i replace the rock the lfs told me to place the rock where the algea was growing in the dark area of the tank to stop the algea from spreading, will this work.

Should i add the refugium in and do i have to reince the lr off when i do my water changes?

my nitrite is at o ppm, my amonia is at 1 ppm, my ph is 8.2, my mitrate is 0 i am going to do a water change tomorrow. should i take out my wet dry and just run a refugium and skimmer. or should i keep the wet dry and add a refugium? thanks

I have a pink cucumber that is attached to one of my tubes at the top of the tank. I have to do a waterchange tomorrow, and when i take out the water he will not be in water till i fill it back up. Should i move him or can they go out of water? please help
