    I just added a refugium about 3 weeks ago. I have seen alot of growth in the refugium. On the main glass i see tiny bugs there stomias they kind of look like a shrimp. There transparent are these good and are they coming from the refigum

    use a phospate remover filter pad. It will clear it up in a couple of days, I had to do it to my tank the algea was a red slime like algea it was all over my sand bed to. the phosate filter worked

    I just set up my refugium the light i am running is a 10 k 8 watt pc white and a artnic, the area of mud is about 12 inches by 6 inches. Do you think thats enough light or should i add a plant light (florance)?????

    Green Hair Algea

    I have tried to rid my tank of this green hair algea. Tomorrow i am going to remove the rock and scrubb it off. When i replace the rock the lfs told me to place the rock where the algea was growing in the dark area of the tank to stop the algea from spreading, will this work.

    my nitrite is at o ppm, my amonia is at 1 ppm, my ph is 8.2, my mitrate is 0 i am going to do a water change tomorrow. should i take out my wet dry and just run a refugium and skimmer. or should i keep the wet dry and add a refugium? thanks

    I have a pink cucumber that is attached to one of my tubes at the top of the tank. I have to do a waterchange tomorrow, and when i take out the water he will not be in water till i fill it back up. Should i move him or can they go out of water? please help
