Well I bit the bullet and bought the 500w MH light. I'll be replacing the ballasts depending on the par they are putting out. I'll also replace all my PCs w/ actinics.

Well I went and messed w/ a good thing. I switched out my males and the female is going after the new male pretty hard. I put her in a specimen container within the tank cause the poor little male got a few chunks of fin torn off by the female. Thats what I get, I should have left well enough...
