Hey every i have had my 24gal AP just cycling for about 3 or 4 weeks now about 22 lbs of LR and 30lbs of LSi had a huge amount of coraline algea in there and now i see this brown stuff all over the sand and rocks and i have no idea what it is???Has anyone ever had this before??

I'm thinking about getting the Current Fission Nano Skimmer for my 24gal. AP.....does anyone on here have any experience with it good or bad?....it's $50 and if it's not worth it i will just spend a little more and get a different one. Thanks in advance.

Im not saying you shouldn't wait because that's usually the right thing to do but I put a sand sifting star in my tank and its only a little over 3 weeks old and he's been doing just fine i acclimated him for over 3 hours but other than that no problems.....
