We aquired an established (2 yrs old) 125g about 3 months ago. The tanks had/has crushed coral and it also came with an algae bloom cause the guy just got tired of maintenance, basically.... We have been fighting the algae, to a great deal of success! Algae is off the the rocks and corraline...

Since that pic above is from my RBTA and she is now happy... I had it in my 24g Nano that only had stock lights - I moved it to my 125g that has MH's (250w x3) that also has a pair of Maroons that WERE hosting on my LTA. Within minutes of putting it in the 125g, the female maroon was all over...

so, I moved her and her rock to the 125g tank this morning - within 5 minutes my maroon pair were all over her! She hasn't moved around at all and is looking good! Guess the maroons like her better than the LTA! :)

I test my calcium and alk at leat 1 every 2 weeks - I've been told that, but obviously didn't really believe, that testing calcium isn't that important b/c your corals will 'show you' if your calc is low. I add calc at the min. when i do a water change, put in the clean water and let it cycle...

Ok - I have an LTA in the 125, it's in the back corner and has 2 maroon clowns hosted with it so should I be concerned with having 2 anemones? I've heard/read that you should only have 1 anenome per tank Thank you!!

Mix my own now - before I got the RO I bought my water from my AWESOME lfs and lugged jugs around Mixing my own is MUCH better!
