The only reason why I'm saying that they are missing is that I see them dead behind rocks and stuff...then missing within a day or two thats why I said if something is eating them....and they are very large so hardly not noticeable...they're about 2.5" believe it or not.

bah...if that's the case, why even bother to buy them? so many people recommanded me getting them for my tank and I paid almost $100 for 15 electric and god knows how much for 10 burgendy. So any needs of buying more of these "fighters" if they going to kill themselves then there is no point...

I got plenty of shells and they are all large crabs...probably largest they get so I got about 10-15 empty large shells in the tank. I did see some fighting though but i usually broken them up. :

i never bought a mantis shrimp I only have 2 pepperment shrimp a watchman and a foxface and matrix crabs 2 and snails... Arg...those blue electric hermits cost me a lot...errr

the person who sold the sump to me said that he used a mag7 on it, which is weird because ont he site it's rated at 300gph.

I havn't had other brands, but I can tell you that I really love this fixture, In everyway it's good cept the bulbs( I like other colors then what they give), but then again even if u change all the bulbs it wont cost as much as other brands.

doesn't look enough light if you ask me, it seems you have lots of dark areas and sps need more light.
