    Is he eating yet??? I have a blind one, and I have to hand feed her... And did u try silversides? Dont kow how comfortable u feel doing so, but mine needs to be hand fed... That may help... But mine eats Krill, and silversides, and anything I give to her... Let us know if it works, if u try it!

    Yeah, damsels are very much territorial fishes, and as you see they will attack anything(even the your trigger) near their coral algae gardens... What I would do is maybe get rid of them, unless u really like them... All I can suggest... Otherwise you will probably be seeing this problem

    I believe that would be a good idea to put the trigger in last, and if possible to get him as a juv too! I had a problem with my trigger (picaso) also, he lived in tank first for a few months.... Then months later the lion was added, and he was a total jerk to the lion... And from what Ive read...

    Maybe a Naso Tang? Those are pretty big,or get that way, right? And would do fine if in a larger tank, dont know too much about them, but theyre real cool looking! :)

    Yes what is the difference between them???? I just recently got one... I have no trouble feeding it at all, and Ive fed it frozen foods too.... My LFS had it in a 75gal and they had it for 3 weeks they said and also said it would be fine in my 72gal, which I moved the live rock to the side...

I have a blind porcupine puffer, which I hand feed, he was real cheap, $25 and the guys at my LFS said he was easy to take care of, so I got him, and have to hand him otherwise the dummy with starve, hes too long looking around for the food...

    Just a suggestion, try feeding it ghost shrimp, I read somewhere thats what they will eat.... Thats all I ever found out about what those guys eat, cause I was thinking about geting one too, probably not tho... Good luck!

    hey you can do all those ick away things, that would be a good suggestion... And to raise the temp of your tank a little if you can if it was 78 then to 80... Something like that... And for fresh water, you should also be using aquarium salt too... They sell that at your lfs Im sure... I use to...

    My Picaso is also kinda picky... He doesnt eat squid or plankton either... I had those in a combination with sea worm supreme and brine also... He eats (the worms and brine tho).... Good luck! :cool:

    If I'm not mistaking I heard that algae feeds off Nitrates??? I am probably totally wrong, so please dont laugh in my face..... lol Its all good tho, but I believe if you have some tho, it can also reduce the nitrates.... Good luck to ya!!! :)

    Hey! I use "Safe & Easy" Aquarium cleaner, got it at lfs... For fresh and salt water... And I dont think that it would really hurt your aquarium by what you did, so just be more careful next time... :cool:

    I have the same kind of thing... I think its cause my diatoms went away, and my nitrites finally went down... So, low I have tons of green algae everywhere, and also some red algae that looks like puffs... Its bulky looking... What should I do, clean it or leave and get some kind of snail to do...

    Nitrites too high

    I have the same problem as you... My tank has been up for about two months, I think? Its a 72-gal btw... The Nitrites are REALLY high and have been for awhile too... I asked my LFS besides everyone here... They said to do a small water change (LFS), because the bacteria (Nitrosome or whatever)...
