Once cured, I will be adding more live rock to the tank and the 3rd plant will be out! As for the pebbles....thats probably going to be...

    Porcupine Puffer Concern

Well hefner413 you are absolutely correct. A simple google search reveals a seafood store that sells shrimp, crabs, clams, and oysters only 10 miles away from my house. I'll grab a little bit of everything and see what puff thinks!

    Porcupine Puffer Concern

I'm referring to the saltwater fish variety packs that I have for my goby. They contain cubes of squid, brine shrimp, and algae. Anyway...you buy these large chunks of squid from your local grocery store? I dont think i've seen anyone around here sell it.

Thanks all! I could start feeding him the frozen brine shrimp and squid thats in the freezer...I just thought hed rather a nice whole piece of krill than a ground up piece of mushed squid. As far as other health concerns...well when he is active he seems happy and he physically looks healthy. 55...

    Porcupine Puffer Concern

I have a couple of concerns about the porcupine puffer I have had in my tank for about 4 months ("puff" stuck as his name). My biggest concern is that he is very very lazy....he lounges on the sand in the corner of my tank for 85% of the day. The 15% referring to feeding and rare curiousity. He...

    New 55 Gallon Tank!

Mixed in with the live sand you can see a bunch of pink/blue beads that got dumped in my tank during the first week of setting up. I have hated them ever since they hit the bottom of my tank...anyone know of an easy way to get rid of them??

    New 55 Gallon Tank!

I have had the zoas for about 2 months. The current lamps are 15 watt 10,000K. I have coralife actinic lamps but they make my tank too dark. I would love to upgrade my lighting but I have dumped just about everything I have into the current setup (broke college student). I placed the zoas higher...

    New 55 Gallon Tank!

I would like to hear some honest opinions on my newly established saltwater tank (6 months). It is the first time that I set up a saltwater tank and honestly its such a blast! I am new to the hobby and do not know much about coral, so if someone could evaluate the health of my polyp I would...
