Wow... a few intersting responses there. Actually nothing is wrong with the skimmer. I have heard that modifying them can make them noticiably better and I thought I would give it a try.

Cha Ching! I just had a huge outbreak of the Res Stuff. I got in a pinch a fwe weeks aga and had to use about 5 gallons of tap water. Shortly afyter that the Red Algea appeared. Now, what do you do to beat the stuff. I rinsed off the rocks, and vacumed the sand. It seemed to have helped...

Taken a few pics... Bubbles are not coming out well at all. Maybe a better description is in order. They are pretty large...maybe slighty more than a b b. and they seem to adhere to areas with a bit of algea buildup. Does that provide more clarity?

Hello, latley I have noticed a large amount of bubble attaching themselves to my live rock and other items in the tank. Is this anything to be concerned with? Thanks for your input!
