Fill it up halfway with bio balls or bio max. Works for me. ta-da !!!

no matter how hard I tried, my Calcium level is still on 220. Any suggestion on how to increase my Ca levels to 400 ? I have a 55 gal. with the following basic setup: a. undergravel filter b. canister filter (w/ bio balls, nitrate sponge, no carbon) c. air lift protein skimmer I'm dosing turbo...

I've been using Kent Aquadose for some time now, I have 2 1400 ml version, I use it for dosing kalkwaser and turbo calcium separately. All doses are going down to my sump. Pretty good and inexpensive product. cheers ! :)

I plug out all return pumps on my sump and add the "new" water to the sump. Since I have everything there, including my heater, I just have to wait till the term. light goes off, thereby adjusting to the correct temp, and by then I will turn on all my return pumps. I think my fishes and...

you should've not pet this kind of octopus. These guys are too poisonous. A quick touch may end up killing you !!! :eek:
