    live rock

I know exactly what you are feeling. For the longest time I was thinking of how to set up my live rock. The thing to remember when setting up your live rock is that you need water to flow behind the rock and you dont want the rocks to be touching the front or side glass. This way when you are...

    trates& water changes

I do a 10% water change every Thursday on my 55g. It works out perfect for me as it is clean and simple. No need to shut anything down because it is only a few inches of water coming out. This has been working awesome for me!

All I want for X-Mas is to SEE my anenome

This morning I got frustrated and I took my Rio 600 and pointed it right at it about 8-10 inches aways or so. He has not budged and only started to shrivel up.....this is what my girlfriend is telling me at least, as she is at home right now. How long do you guys think I should keep the...

    Setup Tank Today

I would say the biggest mistake you have made so far is putting too much trust in the lfs. I like a bunch of the guys at my lfs, but I learned my lesson after asking them a few questions, and then asking people on these message boards. SUPER IMPORTANT, ask questions to more than one source...

Should I use this live sandbooster and live rock enhancer?

I have a 55g that is about 2 months old. It is a FOWLR and a friend of a friend I got the tank from gave me everything he had, including all his chemicals. He had a reef tank in this tank before it was mine. He gave me this Coral-Vital LSB for the aquarium. It is a live sand and live rock...
