one suggestion: do not feed your fish 24 hours before their move. That way the water they are being moved in will have reduced waste (better quality water).

I would suggest a twenty gallon. However, I just got a ten gallon and it seems to be doing fine. You just have to be careful about temp. It can change fast in that small of a tank. All you need is a power filter, a thin layer of substrate, thermometer, and decorations.

I don't know about the tangs but you can get two cleaner wrasses. They are active and peaceful parisite eaters.

Rule of thumb is one inch of fish for every 5 gallons of water and one inch of invert for every 6 gallons of water
