should i get a timer for a desktop nano i'm considering putting up in my room? i just think it would b easier to have there day/night cycles on a continual timer so as to not get any abnormal light exposure.... maybe just me.. anyway how long should i leave the lights on/off? any thoughts? thanks!

it's only i'd say like... an inch and 1/2 tall or so - it's planted at the bottom of the tank, but... *goes and checks on it* it's swaying more than it would be pumping, plus it's behind a rock wall so it's not really getting a whole hell of a lot of current but its still flowing which is odd...

as i said - not much but it's coming along - two weeks ago it was just 2 damsels a cleaner shrimp (both absent from pictures) and button polyps lol
